Meet the Skyhigh Team

Alan Rothery

Skyhigh Falconry''s founder and driving force.
To Alan this is not a job but a way of life. 

Hobbies: No time for hobbies.

Favourite saying: "The birds come first!"

Philosophy: Sentient conservation and to always see the bigger picture.

Debbie Rothery

Not exactly the brains behind the operation but definitely the beauty.
Debbie''s administration skills and bird handling experience is an invaluable asset.

Hobbies: Like Alan, Debbie has no time for hobbies but thanks to tesco.com manages a little time for internet shopping.

Favourite saying: "I was born blonde, and that''s my excuse"

Philosophy: Always be true to yourself no matter what. 
Gossip is for people with dull lives. 
Home is where the heart is.

Brodie Rothery

Brodie is growing up surrounded by birds of prey.  
He never fails to impress others with his knowledge of the birds, his PR skills and leaflet distribution at events throughout the holidays and his ability to talk the hind leg off a donkey makes him a valuable asset to the team.

Hobbies: Playstation

Favourite saying: "I''m hungry", "Are we there yet?", "Did you get me anything?"

Philosophy: Doesn''t know what that means but wants to be a super hero when he grows up.

Neil Ross

Over sea''s adviser and event coordinator.
Neil is always on hand when needed (and sometimes when he is not).
Neil was instrumental to the birth of Skyhigh Falconry.

Hobbies: Falconry, collecting gadgets and playing with his star wars action figures.

Favourite saying: "jeezey peeps"

Philosophy: still thinking about it.

Rob Shirley

Rob, is Skyhigh''s right hand man, always available in an emergency, Mr Reliable!

Hobbies: Falconry, motorbikes and being controversial on internet forums.

Favourite saying: "It''s a wee adventure"

Philosophy: He doesn''t know what this means but says he wants to be a super hero when he grows up.

Karen McLaughlin

Skyhigh''s budding apprentice.  Karen showed a keen interest and willingness to learn by tying falconer''s knots on oven doors, pram handles and anything else she could get her leash around which im sure will stand her in good stead for her future in the falconry field.

Hobbies: Online games and online games.

Sonnie 

AKA: The Shadow.
A beautiful boy who just wants to please, one of two GSP''s brought in to take over from the old boy.
Now 2 years old Sonnie is showing his worth in the field.

Cappie

Mach

Mach is Alan''s dog of a lifetime and constant companion.
Mach''s prowess in the field working for hawks, falcons and eagles for over a decade is second to none.  Mach would stand shoulder to shoulder with any pointing dog, past, present and future. Although now 13 and semi retired he could still run many younger dogs into the ground.
